Louise Bourgeois

$125.00

Louise Bourgeois’s first solo exhibition took place at the Bertha Schaefer Gallery in 1955. More than half a century later, her work endures, astounds, and inspires many more generations. This volume, brings together much of her work from 1938-2007, taking the form of an A-Z glossary: from A for Abandonment to F for Family, Father Figures, and Feminism to S for Suicide, it is arguably the most comprehensive publication on Bourgeois still. Running throughout is the artist’s own voice, often in previously unpublished quotations from diaries and interviews. An excellent first U.S. edition with mylar cover.
