This lovely vintage poetry volume is written by Lizette Woodworth Reese, an English teacher in the Baltimore school system for more than fifty years. Reese was honorary president and founding member of the Poetry Society of Maryland in 1890, and named poet laureate of Maryland in 1931. Second edition, in near-fine condition; slipcase shows some shelf wear.
